Charity centre hit by burglary
A CHARITY which helps bereaved people has vowed to carry on its work despite being hit by a burglary.
Staff at Charlie’s Angel Centre Foundation in Parkside Lane, Leeds, were devastated after thieves broke in through a window and stole four computer tablets, a television, an Xbox and children’s games.
Ruth Curtis, a co-founder of the organisation, said: “I just couldn’t believe it that someone could go so low as to break into a bereavement charity.”
The burglary which happened on Wednesday is being investigated by police.
The charity provides services for anyone affected by the death of children.
