Bowls club plans given green light

SCARBOROUGH: A bowls club has been granted permission to upgrade its ageing pavilion.

Burniston and Cloughton Bowls Club lodged a planning application with Scarborough Borough Council to extend its existing home in High Street, Burniston, earlier this year.

The clubhouse was built in 1982. Planning officers have now granted planning permission.
