Gavin and Stacey ‘may disappoint’

TELEVISION: Gavin And Stacey’s comeback is bound to disappoint some fans, cocreator Ruth Jones has said.

The sitcom is returning to BBC One after a long absence with a special on Christmas Day.

Jones, 53, who created the show with James Corden and also plays Nessa, told the Radio Times Christmas edition: “There’ll be some people who go, ‘Oh, it’s not what it used to be’ – that’s just the law of averages.”
