Scholarship for budding engineer

WAKEFIELD: A GCSE student from Yorkshire has been awarded a scholarship from one of the UK’s leading engineering programmes.

A total of 415 students were hand-picked from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to receive the coveted Arkwright Engineering Scholarship award. Anna Chew, from Wakefield Girls’ High School, will now receive financial and mentoring support throughout her A-levels, as part of a drive to inspire future leaders in engineering.
