Mothers planning to open play centre

YORK: Two mothers have joined forces to raise money to open a new play centre and cafe for families.

Zoe Paterson and Amy Shannon are hoping to make York city centre more appealing to parents and children, and are planning to launch the new venture, called Dinosaurs Love Fairy Cake, on Market Street.

The two friends have set up an online crowdfunding appeal to raise £30,000, and they are already a third of the way to reaching their target.
