‘Israel has never had better friend’

US: President Donald Trump said yesterday that Israel had never had a better friend in the White House than him and criticised some American Jews for not loving Israel enough.

At the Israeli American Council National Summit in Florida he commented on his promise to recognise Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, to relocate the US Embassy there and to recognise Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
