Ideal place for new station

IT would be relatively simple and hugely beneficial to put a new railway station on the Bradford to Harrogate line north of Bramhope tunnel (The Yorkshre Post, December 5).

There is plenty of land for car parking. There is already access from Pool via Station Road and it would be easy to give road access off the A660 between Bramhope and Pool. It would also be close enough to walk to, from both Pool and Bramhope.

This could significantly help ease the traffic congestion through Adel and Headingley for a relatively low cost.
