Market building to be demolished

SCUNTHORPE: Plans have been announced to demolish the town’s market building.

North Lincolnshire Council plans to pull down Scunthorpe Market by March. The market has moved to a former department store in the town.

Council leader, Rob Waltham, said the old building would have been “too costly” to revamp.
