Seven more die after positive test

THE GOVERNMENT confirmed yesterday that a further seven deaths which were linked to coronaviru­s had been recorded, bringing the UK’s total to 127,087.

The latest fatalities were of people who had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.

Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies have shown that there have been 150,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificat­e.

The Government also said that, as of 9am yesterday, that there had been a further 1,730 lab-confirmed cases of coronaviru­s in the UK. It brings the total to 4,369,775 cases.
