Seven more die after positive test
THE GOVERNMENT confirmed yesterday that a further seven deaths which were linked to coronavirus had been recorded, bringing the UK’s total to 127,087.
The latest fatalities were of people who had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.
Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies have shown that there have been 150,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
The Government also said that, as of 9am yesterday, that there had been a further 1,730 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK. It brings the total to 4,369,775 cases.
