Woman in hospital after ‘car driven at her’

A woman has been hospitalised after being struck by a car which is thought to have been deliberately driven at her.

The incident happened shortly before 7am on Saturday on Chickenley Lane in Dewsbury. The woman was involved in the collision with a red Seat Leon and the driver fled the scene before dumping the car. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
