Good Samaritan foiled sex attack

CRIME: Police want to trace a good Samaritan who chased off a man who sexually assaulted a woman as she walked along the Dearne and Dove Canal in Rotherham.

The assault happened at about 12 noon on May 15 between Mexborough and Swinton and the attacker was interrupted by the passer-by.
