Apartments plan for ex-care home

A former care home which has become run down could be converted into 14 apartments.

Silver Lodge on Housley Lane, Chapeltown, is vacant and developers say the building has been neglected.

In a planning application, Ward Architecture says: “This seeks to arrest the current decay and bring the building back into life by transforming the structure.”
