Zenith to bring commercial operations under one brand

-

CAR LEASING firm Zenith confirmed it is to bring all of its commercial vehicle operations together under one brand.

The Leeds-headquartered business, which operates from Kirkstall Forge where it is the anchor tenant, will bring all of its functions together under the Zenith Commercial brand.

The move follows Zenith’s acquisition of the Cartwright Fleet Services, finance sales and rentals businesses in September 2020 and is the latest phase of its integration strategy

Zenith Commercial comprises the existing legal entities Contract Vehicles Limited (CVL) and Contract Vehicles Fleet Services Limited (CVFS), which will both now trade as Zenith Commercial Fleet Solutions, and Contract Vehicles Rentals Limited (CVR), which will trade as Zenith Trailer Rentals.

Together the businesses comprise the commercial vehicle division of Zenith under the management of an executive board led by Martin Jenkins.

Mr Jenkins, CEO of Zenith Commercial and group strategy director, said: “Through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, we have created the UK’s leading commercial vehicle leasing, rental, maintenance and fleet management business with over 50,000 vehicles under direct contract and incorporating a 7,000 strong specialist trailer rental fleet.

“The company also has a significant presence in the white label service market.

“The combined scale and breadth of our operations means our servicing and maintenance capabilities have been materially enhanced with the combination of direct delivery capability through one of the largest mobile technician fleets in the UK, strategically located in-house workshops and on-site vehicle maintenance unit teams, and our extensive national network of third-party specialist repair agents.”

Zenith is currently investing in its commercial operations as it develops its capabilities and rolls out new technology to provide industry-leading levels of customer service and support.

Zenith Commercial works closely with many of the UK’s largest commercial vehicle operators and household brands, working in partnership to keep critical fleets compliant, efficient and moving across a range of key sectors, including distribution and logistics, home shopping, parcel delivery, cash in transit, and construction.
