It-girl Olivia’s ultimate It-bag

Olivia Palermo (right) is one of those New York girls whose levels of immaculate when it comes to dressing are almost impossible to emulate – but now we can try. Alongside a collection for Banana Republic next season, she has also collaborated with Notting Hill accessories label Meli Melo on the new cylindrical bag the Severine (£600, melimelo.com), inspired by artist and architect Max Bill and designed, we feel, for the lady who already has the bucket, the tote and the cross-body covered. We’re after the white version for now and burgundy come autumn…

YOUR DAILY UNIFORM? Silk blouses, cashmere sweaters and flats – Roger Vivier sneakers are currently my favourites.

WHAT CAN’T YOU RESIST? Anything by Moncler. We’re heading towards winter – a time when I convince myself that there’s nothing in that store I don’t need!

YOUR COLOUR OF CHOICE? I love military green at the moment.

THE TREND YOU DON’T GET? Ugly shoes. I mean, each to their own, but they are not my thing.

HOT-DATE OUTFIT? Leather trousers. Paige does the best ones.

INSTAGRAM ADDICTION? Interior designer Ashley Stark Kenner (@ashleytstark) is a brilliant curator and she mixes things up, which I love. Also the New York Rangers (@nyrangers) are my anti-fashion overload choice – plus it’s almost hockey season, which is very exciting.

WATCHING? Billions – I’m desperate for the next season. The same goes for The Crown.

READING? My emails. Sadly, that’s the reality right now; I can’t pretend otherwise.
