Spotlight on… THE DÉCOR
For Rachel and Mark, the styling of their wedding was an important part of setting the tone and feel for everyone. “We were both so chilled on the day, and I think this was something that was encouraged by the styling,” says the bride. As well as the seasonal blooms, there were plenty of details chosen to create a contemporary boho theme. “We lined the route to the tipi with jars of flowers, ribbons hanging from hooks, as well as some lanterns,” recalls Rachel. “We had metal watering cans, tin milk churns and wellington boots, which we filled up with flowers.” The bar was decorated with paper cranes, vintage lampshades and teacups, all in the couple’s palette of bright hues mixed with pastels. Pretty dreamcatchers hanging from the edges of the tipi created the perfect finishing touch.
