Love LETTERS

You and Your Wedding - - Reception Trends -

In the digital age of instant messages, a beautifully handwritten wedding morning love letter can be an extra-special gesture. And this sumptuous shoot, with its elegant calligraphy and stunning stationery, shows just how romantic putting pen to paper can be on your big day. “I imagined a beautiful scribe on her wedding day writing a letter to her true love,” says planner and stylist Elizabeth Solaru.

The shoot is a true celebration of the written word, with calligraphy gracing everything from the back of a chair to the cake. “The theme is carried through to the cakes with handwritten edible wafer paper,” says Elizabeth.

“Amie Bone created a lush canopy of pure white roses, peonies, orchids, delphiniums and hydrangeas with no greenery, shaped like a roof RYHU WKH WDEOH μ VKH DGGV $ PDWFKLQJ ÁRUDO UXQQHU

is the perfect backdrop to let the gold-rimmed crockery shine. “White and gold is such a classic combination and can be used to instantly create a luxurious look. Use different hues and tones to create a textured and beautiful palette.”
