Pancytopenia is a veterinary term for a low red and white blood cell count.These cells are vital in helping keep a cat healthy and a low level leaves them vulnerable to anaemia and serious infections, and can be fatal. Signs of pancytopenia include: lethargy, malaise, loss of appetite, bleeding from the mouth, blood in poo, blood in urine, pale gums, and collapse.
