Your Cat

A NATION BAFFLED BY MOGGIES

-

The majority of cat owners are still confused by their cats’ behaviour, even after sharing so much time with them in lockdown, new research has highlighted.

The research revealed 93 per cent of owners do not understand their cats’ behaviour, with 26 per cent admitting to meowing at them in a bid to communicate and 1-in-10 getting down on all fours.

The research also revealed 56 per cent of owners are desperate to learn more about their feline friends.

To help baffled cat owners, Lily’s Kitchen has partnered with cat behaviourist Rosie Bescoby to explain what your cat is thinking, revealing the top 12 cat behaviours all owners should know.

Rosie says:“While we all know the common tell-tale signs of when our cats are happy, such as purring or kneading against your leg, it’s also important to be able to know when your cat just wants some alone time.

“Being able to read these signals and knowing when to back off will make your cat happier and create a better relationship.”
