The POWER of play
foundation upon which all training should be based, whatever the species, is reward. Cats are just as motivated by reward as we are, the only difference is, whereas we humans have to do things we don’t want to, we all know that if a cat is reluctant to do something, we’re on to a hiding to nothing trying to make him. Using games and treats to incentivise cats is a rewards-based training system that is an effective way of encouraging your cat to perform tasks while having fun at the same time.
