PET BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT SERVICE
Sadly, on July 3, my darling Charlie passed away after suffering a sudden blood clot to the heart. I was advised to have him put to sleep as nothing could be done to help him. I have been left completely heartbroken at this sudden and unexpected loss.
I remember reading about the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement helpline in your magazine and the day after I lost Charlie, I phoned them and spoke to a lovely volunteer who understood how I was feeling. I have phoned them several times since and have found them each time to be patient, supportive, and understanding, so thank you for making me aware of this support line and also obviously to Blue Cross for their continuing support.
