Katie Gwilt — master cat groomer

Katie Gwilt, aka The Kat Lady, is a master cat groomer and feline holistic therapist, based in Liverpool. She is Reiki trained and uses botanicals to help cats. She is currently studying for an advanced diploma in feline behaviour and is small animal first aid trained.

“My hopes for the felines in my care in 2022 include educating their guardians about feline specific nutrition, cat grooming, and how to deal with problem behaviours. As we know, cats are not small dogs and sadly often get overlooked in terms of research and understanding. I hope to work towards changing people’s perceptions of our feline friends and their specific needs. Cats are independent yes, but they still need care and attention and it’s all about education.”
