Cat collar and harness brand Supakit (supakit.co) started in 2016 making breakaway collars and this was followed two years later with its cat harness.

Co-founder and CEO of Supakit Leili Farzaneh says that training your cat to walk on a harness is not about setting off on big, long walks.“Cats like to meander, so while you might not cover huge distances, you might discover places you’ve never noticed before,” said Leili.“It can be as simple as being able to take your cat into a communal garden using their harness if you live in a flat.”

Last year, the company launched an online course to help owners train their cats to walk on a harness.

“The course covers recall training, creating a safe space for your cat when walking, introducing the harness, and putting the harness on. It’s all about making the process of harness training fun and stress free for both cat and owner, building positive associations,” said Leili.
