Wild no more…
Buttercup, the Cream Legbar pictured here, who was rescued from a feral life, is doing so well. She even laid a couple of gorgeous green coloured eggs after her arrival. This is amazing for a hen that has been living entirely on wild food and to lay even a couple of eggs in the depth of winter is pretty special. She is still looking in tip top condition and I hope she is enjoying the companionship of other hens. She has adapted well to the attention of one of my cockerels!
