QWhen did the poultry standards for exhibiting birds first appear?

AAndy Cawthray says: In about 1863, the first Poultry Club of Great Britain was established, publishing the first standard of poultry breeds in 1865. The club was disbanded shortly afterwards, only to be resurrected in 1877 to the current Poultry Club of Great Britain. In 1873, the American Poultry Association was founded; it published its first Standard of Perfection in 1874, which has been updated ever since as new editions every few years.
