TERRIER ON THE MEND AFTER SURVIVING 400FT DROP
A Lakeland Terrier X Patterdale Terrier was rescued by a fisherman after surviving a 400ft fall down North Yorkshire cliffs onto rocks as the tide was coming in.
Five-year-old Frank was being walked near Cayton Bay, Scarborough, by his owner Stewart Wragg when he tumbled onto a rocky outcrop on the beach.
He was rescued by Scarborough-based angler Chris Gorman, who carried him to safety before contacting the RSPCA.
Frank was taken to a local vet, where he was treated for a broken front leg, dislocated knee, and missing teeth, before being reunited with his relieved owner.
