Golden Retriever Jimmy is recovering after undergoing emergency surgery to remove his owner’s Apple AirPods from his digestive system.

The excitable puppy swallowed Rachel Hicks’ headphone case after it fell out of her pocket.

Rachel, 22, rushed Jimmy to her local Vets Now out-of-hours clinic in Hull, East Yorkshire, where vets carefully removed the obstruction, and were amazed to find the charging light was still on and the AirPods worked!
