Daisy is a three-year-old, spayed Cockerpoo, who lives with a family of adults and children in North London. She has displayed separation anxiety for most of her life, meaning that she cannot be left alone even for short periods.

Her owners initially attempted to address her signs of anxiety using a variety of different methods to break the cycle of anxious behaviour, which included barking, pacing, whining, and drooling.

Jane Robinson, of Dog on the Hill, was called in to help during lockdown last year. She assessed the problem using daily footage taken by cameras around the family’s home, identifyin­g signals in Daisy’s body language before the usual stress signs emerged.
