Curate a gallery

-

Make the most of a Sunday afternoon by creating your own gallery wall. Start by sizing up the available space on your chosen wall, making a note of where the eye level lies. Arrange the pictures on the floor to get the layout just right, then take a photo as a record. As a rough guide, a space of 5-10cm between the frames works well, but you can adapt this to scale, such as larger spacing for big artworks or smaller for family snaps. Starting with the central piece, mark the layout on the wall with masking

tape, tweaking if needed. Hammer a pin, attach a command strip or drill a wall plug and screw into each of the template’s fixing marks, before hanging each of your cherished pieces. For more information on how to hang a

picture, visit wickes.co.uk.
