INTO THE WOODS

When we moved into a very dated 1950s semi-detached house, updating the front living room was one of our first jobs. We decided to wood clad a wall and sourced materials from our local timber merchant. We created a stud wall to attach the panels onto, then whitewashed the wood for a soft finish. In summer the room has an airy Hamptons feel and in winter, when the fire is lit, we feel like we’re in a Colorado log cabin!
