COME ON IN...

WE ARE Carley and Fraser Kyle. I work as an interior designer and have my own concrete homewares business on Instagram @house_leopard, and Fraser is a Hospitality Operations Manager. We have a three-yearold daughter called Sienna, and a whippet called Red.

OUR HOME IS An Edwardian terrace in Edinburgh. We’ve lived here since 2018.

MY BEST BARGAIN WAS The living room bench, which my mum found at an auction. She has an eagle eye for a bargain. We spray-painted it and reupholstered it in a designer fabric.

OUR BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS Choosing ceramic wood-effect flooring for the kitchen – it was beautiful but very cold and showed the dirt so easily. We laid engineered wood over it in the end.

MY STYLE IS Eclectic, I love mixing old and new. I just buy things I like. You might call it vintage bling!

FOR INSPIRATION I go to Pinterest, it’s great for research. I also see wonderful products through my work as an interior designer – our showroom is full of ideas.

NEXT TO DO IS To tackle the garden. We would love more outside seating.
