1 Lay out a length of brown paper and weigh down the corner to prevent it from moving around as you work. First, place some green paint onto a plate or similar flat, washable dish and roll the ink roller through the paint to get an even coating of paint onto it. Then, use the ink roller to apply a thin layer of green paint onto the stem stamp. Press the stamp onto the paper, applying even pressure across the whole stamp and then remove – be quite fast here as acrylic paint dries quickly. Repeat across your paper, changing the angle each time. Allow to dry. Wash the stamp, plate and ink roller ready for the next step.
2 Repeat this process with your rose-hip berries using red paint, aligning them with the stems. Add a scattering of berries in the gaps. Allow to dry fully before wrapping presents and finishing with baker’s twine.
3 To make a tag, take a kraft card tag and apply green paint onto just a small section of the stem stamp and then align with the bottom of the tag. Add a single red berry to finish then allow to dry.
