COME ON IN...

WE ARE Katie Lewis, 37, and Arthur Silvente, 36. We are both senior sales directors at a translation services company. We have a son, Arthur, five.

OUR HOME IS A 1980s, three-bedroom townhouse in Hoxton, London. We bought it in November 2017.

MY STYLE IS Welcoming and minimalist, with inspiration from nature and plants. We don’t like to have much clutter.

MY TOP TIP Ask for help from a professional designer. People think it can be an expensive option, but Olivia Clasper of Assembly Interiors knew where to source everything at the best price and came up with ideas we would never have thought of.

OUR FAVOURITE ROOM Is the living room as the furniture is arranged to create separate areas – for reading, playing or watching television – which all work together as a whole.

OUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE WAS Pulling everything together at the same time and living in the house with a young son while the changes were made.
