We recommend the following: first research your project on planningportal.co.uk; check your property is not within designated land (for example parks, the Broads, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, conservation areas and World Heritage Sites); find out the history of your property and request a Lawful Development Certificate from your Local Authority for peace of mind.’
