Fan assist

This option has heating elements in the top and/or bottom of the oven and a fan at the back, and is available in both electric and gas ovens.

Fan oven

Fan ovens have a heating element at the back of the oven with a fan that distributes the heat. They are always electric.

Conventional oven

These use top and bottom heating elements that radiate heat evenly throughout the oven.

Pyrolitic cleaning

This program heats the oven to around 500°C, which burns off grease so you just have to wipe away the ash that’s left.

Catalytic cleaning

A special lining absorbs grease while cooking, then breaks it down when heated above 200°C, leaving you to wipe off any excess.
