1 Roll a small handful of clay into two balls the size of ping pong balls and one ball the size of a small marble. Form one larger ball into a triangle and then cut into the top edge to form the heart shape. Smooth out the surface and then repeat with the other large ball.
2 Take the small ball and form into a rectangle. Score up one side of this piece and line it up with one of the straight edges of the heart, press together and then smooth out the join. Then repeat for the other side and remaining heart shape. Place a roll of paper in the slot to prevent it from falling in on itself and allow to dry. Repeat making another heart that’s slightly smaller.
3 Once dry, remove the paper, apply a coat of white paint and allow to dry. Then paint on a pretty floral pattern and allow to dry fully before use.
