Terrific terracotta

I had the idea of building these Bill and Ben flowerpot guards after thinking about my childhood and watching the show on the TV in black and white! I used different sizes of terracotta pots and threaded rod with nuts to hold the pots in place. They were then painted with acrylic paints and sealed. The hats were made from roofing felt. I’ve had lots of great comments from visitors saying how fantastic they look, and I’m really pleased with how they turned out! This year I’m hoping to grow a sunflower behind the spot.
