COME ON IN...

WE ARE Kura Dione-Warren, 33, a company director, my husband, Mark Warren, 33, an architect, and our son, Kalil, three. We are currently expecting our second child. We share our decorating progress on Instagram at @the_warren_ crew_52.

OUR HOME IS a 1930s, four-bedroom semi-detached house with a one-bedroom annexe, in Merton, south-west London.

MY BEST BUY was our dining table, found on Facebook Marketplace for £30.

MY TOP TIP is to not be afraid of making things yourself. We made lampshades, built-in storage, curtains and cushions, and my husband even laid underfloor heating.

MY ADVICE IS to be confident when picking colours for your home. Go with what you like!

SHOPS I LOVE ARE Habitat, IKEA, Dunelm, Snug and Aldi.

I’M INSPIRED BY I’m of Senegalese heritage and this has inspired design elements in my home, like patterned rugs, cushions, window treatments and wall art.
