COME ON IN...
WE ARE Jo Burke, 35, my husband Arran, 37, a project manager, and our children, Jack, 10, Evie, eight, and George, five months, plus our two dogs, Daisy, a Labrador, and Rosie, a Cavapoo.
OUR HOME IS a four-bedroom, detached new-build house in Great Bentley, Essex, and we moved here in November 2018. I Instagram our journey at @the_house_and_me.
MY BIGGEST MISTAKE I painted halfway up the hallway wall in black. It looked great, but was difficult to keep clean and didn’t work with the rest of the house.
NEXT TO DO I would love to have a free-standing bath. Maybe when the kids are older and splash water around a bit less!
