THE OUT­DOOR COM­PE­TI­TION sea­son is upon us. For those of you head­ing out — from ex­pe­ri­enced pro­fes­sion­als through to those step­ping out on the cir­cuit for the first time — you’ll want to make sure you’re pre­pared for what­ever com­pe­ti­tion day may throw at you. Whether you’re con­cerned about an un­sea­sonal down­pour or warm­ing up in an open space, we’ve got the ex­er­cises that you can prac­tise at home — as well as on the day — to en­sure you and your horse en­joy com­pet­ing out­side and can fo­cus on the job in hand.
