REFLECTIONS

Your Horse (UK) - - YOUR HORSES -

Allison finishes the session feeling good. “I’ve done things I wouldn’t have tried before,” she smiles. “Riding with a longer rein and my hands open made all the difference. I felt more in tune with Brooks and I was able to sit up. “He’d not seen a ditch before, yet breaking it down by walking first meant it wasn’t an issue. We’re both feeling hugely confident.” Lucinda is pleased with their progress. “Horses feed off the rider’s confidence, so you’ve got to be confident otherwise it’s unfair on the horse — he’ll feel you’re letting him down,” she says. “Brooks is such a nice little horse and he’s up for it. Now go and have some fun.”
