IT’S LARGE AND it’s complicated, but your horse’s digestive system, much like ours, works like a dream if it’s maintained in a healthy state. It helps if you understand how it works and what can trigger problems — some bigger than others. The good news is that there’s plenty you can do to keep the digestive system functioning smoothly, and also to nip issues in the bud by spotting signs of trouble early.
