MEET THE RIDER

ALLISON KITE is a 59-year-old primary school supply teacher. She bought her 14.2hh Connemara, Preston Brooks, eight months ago, having previously partnered a 17.2hh horse for 10 years. “Brooks is green and we’re gaining confidence together. The jumps look a lot bigger when you are lower down,” says Allison. She is aiming Brooks at mountain & moorland showing classes and riding club activities.
