What makes this bridle so different is a loop of soft, padded leather that’s connected to cutback side pieces by D-rings. These let the pieces of the headpiece move separately, ensuring independent side movement when a contact is taken. Research has shown that when a contact is taken, a twist can occur. This can press into the poll and nuchal ligament and shift the opposite side of the headpiece into the base of the ear and TMJ. The D-rings and soft loop eliminate the twist, leading to greater relaxation, freer movement and connection.
