Nia Millar, East Liverpool RDA

For Nia, horses are her passion and faced with her own challenges of significant dyslexia and verbal dyspraxia she’s determined to support others through these beautiful creatures. As RDA group coach and assistant equine-facilitated learning practitioner, Nia teaches individual and group lessons, ensuring everyone is safely cared for, horses included. In her study breaks, she works as a health care worker in a forensic mental health medium secure unit. Nia takes no credit for her RDA group’s achievements at regional and national championships — it’s teamwork, she says.
