Horses at home

-

QDo any horsey workingfrom-home jobs exist? Rita Lyons, Oxford Alex says... Most careers working with horses involve you travelling to the yard or centre where the horse is kept, unless of course you are lucky enough to run an equestrian business from your own back yard. Careers such as a coach, groom or professional rider may result in freelance work, which means you are your own boss and determine your own working hours and how far you travel for work. Joining the BHS as an Accredited Professional comes with a plethora of benefits, including the option to take out relevant insurance for your professional activities to give you the peace of mind that you’re covered if you are self-employed. If you want a career with horses that is more office-based, then you may be able to work from home, but ultimately this will be at the discretion of your employer.
