WHY FEED A BALANCER?

Horses would naturally graze over many acres of wild terrain to balance their diet with different plants and grasses. When confined to smaller paddocks, they lose the ability to do this, which is where a feed balancer comes in. If your horse is nutrient-deficient he can’t perform at his best and may be lethargic, with a dull coat, scurfy skin and poor hooves. It may affect his behaviour too.
