YOURS (UK) - - Meeting Place -

■ While searching for Sammy Squirrel in Yours with my six-yearold grandson Lucas, I said, ‘We need to keep our ears pierced’. I think I meant eyes peeled! Pat Needham, Huddersfield ■ Looking at a CD I’d bought I suddenly noticed some marks on it. Cross that I‘d been sold a damaged one I was about to take it back when my niece looked at it and started laughing. It wasn’t marked, it had a pattern! Joanne Wilkinson, Sheffield ■ One evening I returned home and noticed that the lights were uncommonly dim. My heart sank as my house is old and I’d had trouble with the wiring before. I went through the whole house and turned on every light, it was the same in every room! Resigning myself that I was facing upheaval I went upstairs to get ready for bed, went into the bathroom and discovered I was still wearing my sunglasses! Anneliese Thomas, Essex
