COLD SORE WOES
I suffer from cold sores and find they’re worse during the summer months. Can you suggest a product to help keep them at bay?

The sun can be a major cold-sore trigger as can alcohol, stress and late nights. If you’re a sufferer, get ahead with Base Lip Solve (£7.50), which tackles the virus while it’s in its dormant state. Containing liquorice extract, it works by weakening the frequency, severity and duration of an outbreak. Our tester found in most cases it stopped the tingle turning into a cold sore and if one did appear, it didn’t develop fully and disappeared quickly. It also includes a SPF 30 and hydrating shea butter.
