Visit

Set in the scenic Tywi Valley, Aberglasney Gardens is a horticultural hotspot which has inspired poets and wordsmiths for centuries. Take a leisurely amble around its formal, fully restored gardens and you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a Jane Austen novel. At its heart is the Elizabethan cloister garden, bounded by a three-sided raised stone terrace, perfect for a stroll with romantic views. Beyond this is the awardwinning Ninfarium, a giant greenhouse inspired by The Gardens of Ninfa in Italy, home to a variety of sub-tropical and exotic plants. Don’t miss the 250-year-old yew tunnel and the kitchen garden.
