Dust off your smocks and clock in for a wonderful new documentary about working lives in days gone by in Back in Time for The Factory. Presenter Alex Jones turns back the clock, so 20 women can experience life on the production line of a clothes factory in Wales in the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. They get to grips with the industrial machines and working conditions many of us may remember. From taking home less pay than men, to working on noisy sewing machines on uncomfortable cast-iron seats, it’s a real trip down memory lane.

■ On Thursdays, 8pm, BBC2. If you missed the first episode you can catch up now on BBC iPlayer

■ We’re really enjoying the new impressions-based panel show,

The Imitation Game, where captains Rory Bremner and Debra Stephenson lead teams of the UK’s favourite mimics and comedians in fast-paced impressions games and challenges. Hosted by Alexander Armstrong, the two sides go head-to-head re-enacting movie scenes, re-voicing news footage and putting words into the mouths of celebrities.

■ On Sundays, 10.05pm, ITV1
